A Rockin’ Girl Blogger Award!
Jun 3rd, 2008 by admin
VegeYum Ganga (aka Jennifer) from A Life (Time) of Cooking has just given me a Rockin’ Girl Blogger award! I feel so honoured that she’s chosen me. Thank you so very much! It’s my first blogger award, so I feel extremely proud. She was one of my very first readers when I started blogging last October and has been so supportive, while I’m always inspired by her stunning food photos. Now I’ll have to work extra hard…!
In turn, I would like to pass on the award to two of my fellow bloggers:
- Tess at Tess’ Japanese Kitchen – for your amazing project – learning about Japanese food from a single cookery book. Keep up the good work!
- Charmaine at tasty treats! – for your excellent advice on where to eat in London and Hong Kong. I’ve learnt an awful lot from you!
Thank you again Jennifer, you rock!

I love your blog!
Take care!
Come to see mine!

Hi Helen,
Thanks for the award! My very first one, how exciting. It made my day yesterday, but I was too tired from work to write a word.
I better get back to cooking/posting from my project book—I keep getting distracted by other Japanese recipes and wanting to perfect techniques…
Hi Tess,
You’re very welcome! It’s my first award too, so I was rather excited…
Will continue to monitor your project!
Wow! I’ve just seen this… thank you Helen! I might be in HK later in the year in any case, so if we end up being in the same place at the same time I’ll be more than happy to take you around
Hi Charmaine
You’re welcome! And thank you very much re HK. I’m going to start doing some research for that trip and Beijing when I return from Lake Garda. I’ve just been researching where to eat and it’s quite exciting! Lots of fish from the lake, a fish festival, Dal Pescatore (which is hours away but a 3 Michelin-starred restaurant in the middle of nowhere) etc…
Whoa! You deserve the award just based on that wonderful shrimp filled header! I need to spend some time just looking around your blog at all the good stuff.
Thanks for visiting! You’ll find everything categorised under the tabs at the top of the page. Let me know if there’s anything specific you’re after!
