All the recipes on World Foodie Guide are listed here by cuisine.

Most of the recipes are for simple, home-cooked food using fresh ingredients. At home, we cook each meal from scratch, and it’s just as quick to do this as heating up a ready meal in the oven. It’s also much healthier and cheaper. More recipes can also be found within individual book reviews in the Book Reviews section.

Oh, goody! Recipes! I really enjoy cooking (and eating) Asian food, and while getting some of the ingredients can be difficult here in Arkansas, it’s still a treat. I had to order a gyoza press online, but it makes preparing gyoza a lot easier.

Thank you for this site- you’re on my blogroll, and in my recipe files!

Thanks for adding me to your blogroll and recipe files! What’s your URL? My mother uses a jiaozi mould that she bought when she lived in Germany (funny place to find one), so although she makes her dumplings with fresh wrappers, she saves time by not having to seal and wrap them by hand. I do it the other way round – I use ready-made wrappers, but seal and wrap by hand (because it’s still new to me, and fun). When I get bored, I’ll get a mould or press too!

I’ll be posting some new photos of my latest dumplings lunch soon…

    Thanks again

    Hi Helen
I’ve recently discovered your blog and absolutely love it.
I today had friends for lunch and cooked 3 of the recipes from your Japanese recipe section and they were really lovely. I have just started a food blog myself and have written about the meal I made from your recipes – http://www.lexeat.co.uk
Friday night is your tonkatsu curry (my girlfriend’s favourite) so will let you know how it goes.
    Many thanks
    Alexis
