Japanese Recipes

Zaru soba - eating it Japanese curry Carrot tempura Salmon teriyaki

Here are the Japanese recipes on World Foodie Guide. They’re for simple, home-cooked food, rather than dishes that you would find in restaurants. Some are from my Japanese stepmother-in-law, while the others I learnt while attending food writer Kimiko Barber’s cookery workshop. The majority are really quick and easy to prepare, while a few take more time, like the tempura. I particularly like making my own teriyaki sauce and dashi stock.
