Martin Wishart is a real treat, with its one Michelin star (I believe it was the first Edinburgh restaurant to be awarded one) and location in the hip Port of Leith, just a short taxi ride from the city centre. The interior is simple but stylish, and the service impeccable – polite, friendly and inconspicuous.
